We are really pleased and excited to announce that Longacre Group have acquired a majority shareholding in Sheffield based Inspec Solutions Ltd.
Mark Ritson, co-founder of the business in 1999 and Managing Director, will be retaining a shareholding and will be remaining in post as MD of Inspec Solutions going forward.
Ritson said “this acquisition represents a significant opportunity for our business, employees and ultimately our customers. It will allow us to continue driving growth and development to achieve the next phase of expansion.
After 22 years as a privately owned company, the time right to make this move. Joining Longacre’s iDESo group, the UK’s leading specialist of LV/MV switchgear and integrated power solutions, we will be able to move to the next level as a company, offer a much wider scope of supply and expertise to our customers. The financial strength this will give us will allow us to recruit further and grow our already highly functioning teams, it will give us the ability to finance and manage larger project scopes and solutions.
For our loyal and valued team, it will mean more support, more opportunities, and the chance to work on varied and exciting technology projects across existing industry and the future industrial economies across the UK and beyond as we develop and grow.
We will be looking to grow our client services, especially in our established software and product development team and in consultancy services where we already have extensive expertise and an impressive track record of functional safety lifecycle consultancy projects and safety system implementations. Of course, we will develop and strengthen our main business of PLC/SCADA, DCS and Safety Systems design and implementation for our Industrial Customers”
Inspec Solutions will be joining Longacre’s iDESo Group Limited which includes Baldwin & Francis, Allenwest and Igranic and is the UK’s leading specialist of LV/MV switchgear and integrated power solutions
The iDESo Group is headquartered in Sheffield, with all its incredible industrial heritage and skills. Inspec Solutions are incredibly excited to be a part of this new integrated force in industrial electrical, control, safety, and software solutions in our home city.
