Following an order Inspec Solutions have now started design work on a product tracking and monitoring system for Firth Rixson Metals at their Ickles Factory.

The prject provide a web enabled database system for data capture, logging and reporting for the 3000T and GFM Presses at Firth Rixson Metals Division at Ickles.

The system comprises the following elements:

·        Capture and logging of data locally from the press control systems

·        Gathering of this data into the database server

·        Web reporting facilities for the above data

·        SPC reports for the above data

·        A piece tracking system so that data relating to individual workpieces can be indentified
