Inspec Solutions have been awarded a contract to provide a control, monitoring and product tracking system at a large Forgings Factory.

The new system will encompass full automation and integration of a  large hydraulic screw press, 10 feed furnaces and two robotic manipulators. The new control system is based on Rockwell Controllogix processors and an RSView SCADA system with 5 control screens, a part tracking and monitoring system developed by Inspec, based on SQLServer will also be integrated into the whole control system. Giving a production system which will know where every part is at any stage of the process along with all operating and process data for every part stored for long term retieval should it be required.

The  Forgings factory produce quality forged components for such industries as Aerospac, automotove, defence, oil and gas and power generation.
